Jiz, that is some damn impressive fucking.

The Scavenger: You are involved in productions that steer away from ‘vanilla sex.’ Why is it important to you, to show things like urination, menstrual blood, body hair, fisting, BDSM and ejaculation in your work?

Jiz Lee: Because these things are a part of sex! These things (and other taboo subjects) are a part of the sex we have, and are valid desires and physical sexual responses. When something like female ejaculation is censored, the statement made is that it is shameful, obscene – or worse: that it doesn’t even exist… The more that female ejaculation, fisting, menstrual blood, hair, and other natural things happen in porn, the more people who love these things can feel secure in their pleasure or appearance. I especially value kink being portrayed in pornography where it promotes communication and consent. Pornography can be dark, titillating, challenging, and educating. As a powerful medium, porn can be a very empowering tool.
I use the word queer to mean more than a lesbian. Since I first used it in 1980 I have always meant it to imply that I am not only a lesbian but a transgressive lesbian—femme, masochistic, as sexually aggressive as the women I seek out, and as pornographic in my imagination and sexual activities as the heterosexual hegemony has ever believed.
Well…
Time for some corruption, hunh, kids?

"I am ALL about normalizing and celebrating sexual diversity. Particularly that of our genitalia, its functions, and our desires.
Part of the reason I continue to perform in pornography is experiencing the beauty about sharing my own sexuality and helping others see that diverse sexual responses, desires, and expressions can be sexy — whether it’s shown through myself in terms of white cream, female ejaculation, fisting, pubic hair, gender play, etc… the personal is political, professional, and powerful.

So when I saw Show Off Book’s new “I’ll Show You Mine“, I got very excited. Here’s a “non-porn” example of diversity in sexuality to join the ranks of previously published though now out of print materials such as Joani Blank’s Femalia, and the fun Cunt Coloring Book by Tee Corinne.
“I’ll Show You Mine” features 60 vulvas photographed from the front and head-on by Katie Huisman and edited by Wrenna Robertson. Each photo set is accompanied by participants’ short text entrée about their vulvas and participation in the project.
My personal reaction of the book was that it does exactly what it needs to do. The outside cover is discreet and the forward and texts are empowering. There are many different participants, including a transwoman and a few trans-masculine or non-gender specific models.
Though my own crotch has been filmed and photographed enough that I’m sure many of you have seen it by now, the book inspired me to add to the documentation. So in spirit of “I’ll Show You Mine”, here’s mine!”
